Mindy Blodgett is senior editor of custom content, MIT Technology Review Insights, where she oversees the development and production of custom editorial content, including articles, research reports and live events.
Mindy has more than 20 years experience as a journalist for both newspapers and B2B media as a writer and editor on a wide range of topics around the intersection of business, society and technology, including time as the senior editor in charge of special projects for CIO magazine. She also spent a few years as a consultant and research analyst covering the business process outsourcing sector for the former Yankee Group, now the 451 Research Group. While a consultant and analyst, Mindy presented at several conferences, including in Cairo, Lisbon, and Prague, for a range of corporate clients, including Accenture and ADP.
Before joining MIT Technology Review Insights, Mindy was an events content director at the International Data Group (IDG) and for an online media company covering cybersecurity. She has deep expertise creating content for large-scale and more intimate events, coordinating everything from topic conception and event formats to writing up the agenda and recruiting and vetting speakers, as well as moderating sessions and panels.
Mindy holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
