Nareg Topalian is in charge of MIT Technology Review’s commercial activities in the MENA region. In this role, he is responsible for establishing high level conversations with clients about events, print media and custom content. Nareg also manages a team of business development executives.
Nareg has a strong background in the services sector, with nearly 20 years of business development experience, 8 of which working with consumer goods multinationals such as J&J, Reckitt Benckiser, Kraft foods and Bacardi, covering the Levant territory.
Currently based in Abu Dhabi, Nareg grew up in Armenia. Before joining the MIT Technology Review team he was leading Harvard Business Review’s commercial efforts in the GCC.
He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the Damascus University and is currently pursuing an MBA with Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Nareg speaks fluent English, Arabic, Armenian and has a good command in Turkish.
