Nico Crepaldi is the director of MIT Technology Review Insights, the custom publishing division of MIT Technology Review. He oversees the commercial, production and amplification aspects of all custom content projects, which cover topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation and smart cities.
Nico has more than 20 years of international business experience, including nine years with The Economist Group’s emerging markets advisory arm in Singapore. There he managed a team that produced members-only executive events, sponsored forums and custom content for clients in Dubai, Johannesburg, Kuwait City, Tokyo, Mumbai, London, Sydney and other global business hubs.
Nico, who grew up in Italy, has lived and worked in Asia since moving to Singapore in 2001. He launched his publishing career in 2005, working in China Economic Review’s Shanghai office before relocating to Beijing. He returned to Singapore in 2016.
Nico holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Venice in Italy. He is fluent in Italian and English, proficient in Spanish and French and also speaks basic Chinese.
